Surface pro 7 Black Screen while in Use

Hey there,

i'm having this weird issue with my Surface pro 7 that it's Screen seemingly randomly turns black.

Specifically:

When i'm at the lowest Brightness(0) and i playback a video on mpc-hc the screen of the surface just turns black.

The playback is still running i can still hear the sound from the video, just visually i see a black screen. 

I can fix it by pressing the power button once and locking it. Then unlock it again and the black screen is gone.

This issue only happens when my brightness is at 0.

    After testing my Surface pro 7 I can only say that solution works. Many, many thanks for such creative solution :)

    Well Bruce I tried all suggestions on this thread and nothing helped until I got to yours, I had done the same. Moved it back to the bottom and no issues so far. Wife's account on my SF7 did not have any issues, but her taskbar has always been at the bottom. 

    So my symptom was exactly the same as yours, opening tabs on any browser. You are a hero. Everyone should try this fix if you are still having problems.
