Slow Wifi with brand new Surface Book 2!!!

I am so beyond disappointed!! I bought one of the most expensive versions of the Surface Book 2 (i7, 15 inches, 512 GB) and it its wifi connection is only half the speed of my old i5 and i3 laptops!!! IT IS UNACCEPTABLE for the price I paid (almost 3000 dollars for the computer, and if you add accessories and extended warranty, more than 3600!!).

I have tried everything: resetting the network, reinstalling the wireless adapter drivers, resetting windows from scratch...everything!. I have a 100 Mbps connection at home and all my laptops and smartphones get wifi speeds around 45-50 Mbps, but the SB2 gets 20 Mbps and most of the time it does not even get to 10 Mbps.

I have been reading many other testimonies online of people experiencing the same. I feel scammed.

Not only that, it also seems that there is some kind of incompatibility with the design software I use (Sketchup and Vray). They work flawlessly in my older computers. They crash all the time with the Surface Book 2.

Seriously thinking about returning it. They pull you in with the shiny exterior, but it is a substandard product.

This is definetly a Microsoft surface issue - I can have another laptop or a mobile next to my Surface Book 2 and all other devices getting more than double on https://fast.com/ and https://www.speedtest.net/

If it isnt sorted soon I'll be going down the not fit for purpose route as this is effecting my work

I strongly suggest returning it, if you are within your 30 days.  I've tried to get my money back beyond 30 and they just laugh at me.  Get something that is as advertised.  This machine is not.

I have been on Microsoft Support for weeks now. I'm on my 4th rep.  Everyone of them tells me this is not a known issue and then gives me links to obvious troubleshooting techniques.  The third rep seemed to actually be trying to get somewhere but on the day it was supposed to be elevated to a higher level, he disappeared and a new rep was assigned.  The new rep said the other rep could be gone for as long as 3 months.  I think these service people are contracted and don't work for Microsoft directly, so they are trying to get as many gigs as possible and could really care less if they help you.  They are obviously making stuff up as they go.  Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't seem to mind that model.  Of course, this is only my opinion based on my observations.

So a new problem I have having is WiFi does not work upon power on or wake from hibernation. The network will show its connected but no traffic will pass. I have to manually disconnect and re-connect every single time.
