Surface 4 Pro screen bulging at lower left edge and separated from the frame

I have a Surface 4 Pro that I purchased in March 2016. Over the last few days, I was seeing a considerable color bleed on lower left edge of the screen. Then I stared noticing that that type cover does not seem to close flat against the screen. On closer inspection, I found that the screen is bulging (curving out) on the lower left side and the screen edge has separated from the frame, exposing a gap, Some of the circuitry inside seems to be pushing out as well from what I can see through the gap, indicating something inside is exerting an outward pressure. I pushed the screen back in and with a little pressure it got flattened. However, after a few minutes use, the screen bulged out again. There is no physical damage to the screen, the bezel or the device in general, no cracks or scratches.

What is causing this and what is a possible solution?

    Do you think they’ll pay for my airfare to usa from australia and reverse what i had to pay for a refurbished surfacepro4. 

    They are idiosyncratic if not idiotic in their responses.

    Hello everyone ..a had a surface pro 4 i7 16gb 256 which I bought 3 years ago and this month the battery start to bulge. Out of warranty.... and I said this can't happen to me after I spent 1500 + 300 on accessory and lose my money just like that.. so I made a appointment to Microsoft in Bellevue Wa United States... when I got there they looked at the surface pro4 and they said they will replace my unit free of charge with a surface pro 5 same specs like my old one ... after couple of days they said to come to pick up the refurbished surface pro 5 but instead 5 they gave me surface pro 6 same specs..so now I got that one with another 1 year warranty... here is the proof...

    I am facing the same issue (I am in France).

    After weeks of negotiating, we finally come to an agreement of paying 480 Euro (tax included) to receive a Surface Pro 5.

    However, they sent the Surface Pro 4 instead. I've called and emailed to Microsoft, but then still no reply. It's very frustrating to think that they wanted to capitalise from this situation! 

    (The reason I think we should exchange for the Surface Pro 5 at least is because the Surface Pro 4 is known for many issue, it's very risky that you pay for the same Surface Pro 4, which after 3 months of warranty, could be broken again)

    SP4. I wish Microsoft would waive this 3 year policy.
