Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this? 

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

October 10 release

    It probably would be worth it to try recalibrating. Run on battery until it

    shuts down on its own for no power and charge fully. Repeat 3x. That "should"

    recalibrate. I've been reporting these threads with this issue to an internal

    contact but get no replies.

    I agree. Something like this should not even be an issue, especially if you pay over $2K for the unit.

    My Android Phone (LG V20) and my Lenovo Thinkpad P50 both have battery calibration software to help extend battery life, and I can buy and install new replacable batteries for both of them without having to perform major screen surgery to it. I have my P50 set to stop charging at 85% to slow down battery degradation and it works just fine.

    Surface products could use a similar battery utility.
