This whole situation is a joke. Microsoft clearly doesnt care and is not listening. A massive corporation with some of the best software engineers on the planet, would be able to resolve a simple driver problem within a few days. This has been going on for
weeks and no progress has been made.
Look at the history of firmware updates on the Surface Pro 3. Does that give you confidence in your SP4? From what I have read, there were dozens, DOZENS, of firmware releases for SP3. That should not EVER happen with a flagship product from a company with
near limitless resources at their disposal.
Very sadly, I have given up and returned my Surface Pro 4. I absolutely LOVE the form factor and hardware design, but unfortunately we are dealing with a flat out broken product with no fix in sight.
My advice to all: RETURN YOUR SURFACES ASAP! BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! MICROSOFT WILL NOT FIX THIS! If you're not sure, just look at the history of firmware updates for SP3, as I mentioned earlier. Microsoft does not care about this issue, and will not fix it.
