Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

I am wondering how they can knowingly sell SB2's right now knowing that if they are on 1903, the hardware that you paid extra for, NVIDIA, doesn't work?  Not my style, but wouldn't be surprised to see a lawsuit from someone since i am sure they aren't putting a warning label statei: Does not work with W10 1903

Losing only one day isn't as bad as I've had it. I've lost roughly 2.5 days and who knows how much useful data - mainly after discovering the convos you have on Teams aren't pulled in from the cloud - so I lost it all.

I've had to reinstall fonts, services, remap docs, along with the apps. That set me back two days of synchronisations.

This entire debacle, mishandling, and terrible customer service have cost me a few thousand in lost productivity. It's ironic, considering they have a Customer Engagement solution and keep talking about how important it is! I've tried tweeting at Jayz2Cents, LinusTechTips, and a few others to try to pick up some traction. However, they haven't picked it up.

I've also exchanged a few tweets with whoever handles the @Windows account.

This mistreatment of their customers is unacceptable. I'll never purchase a Microsoft Surface product again after this.

That said, for me, having a vanilla installation of Windows 10 v18xx has resolved the issue. My graphics card does not switch off intermittently.

Microsoft is now touting the Surface event in a couple weeks with zero mention of what is going on with all these critical issues that remain unresolved.
