Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

welcome to the party,  for what I have read in the past few days, hundreds of surface users have this issue for what appears to be months now.

I wouldnt have bought this device if I found  about this issue a few weeks ago when I bought my SB2. Truly disrespectful from Microsoft.

return it and get a refund if you can!

Dear Microsoft | Just reporting here that i have this issue with the gpu randomly disconnecting with the 1903 update on a surface book 2/1060.  Even if I force it back through the refresh new hardware changes, its unstable and crashes during maya heavy use for example. Please update this asap thank you!
