Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

btbt 11,841 Reputation points2019-08-20T20:40:24+00:00 I guess I'm going to have to either return this machine, or maybe see if an exchange for a new one solves the problem? Maybe the GPU hardware has been updated in recent units? This particular SB2 is about 2 months old. Is it possible that the new SB2s have upgraded GPUs?
I would hate to have to return this machine as it has so many things that I like. But the GPU issue has caused very severe problems for me and I'm going to have to do something about it very quickly. I wish someone from the Surface Book development group would respond to this issue directly so that we all could see if Microsoft actually intends to fix the problem -which has gone on since May of this year- or if they intend to abandon it altogether. At least one way or the other, we'll have an answer with which to act accordingly.
The issue is in the software. No amount of hardware changes will fix this so doing exchanges will not solve the problem.
There should have been a block on Windows Update downloading v1903. If it's been under 10 days, you should revert back to v1809 using the button in Settings>Windows Update & Security>Recovery.

I adored my machine when I got it, hardware wise it's wonderful, but keeps being crippled by MS software issues. I was on the cusp of buying a couple of Surface Studio 2s for work, but this issue has completely put me off as I can't risk something like this ruining production.
This problem does not affect the Surface Studio 2. It's unique to the Surface Book 2.
