Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

October 2019 updates

The following updates are available for all Surface Book 2 devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater:

    It's in the OP of the link you post - look at the bottom of the OP. It says "ANOTHER UPDATE: Nope. It’s still happening. Rolling back to 1809 again."

    Magchild updated their post and it's still happening, so this apparently doesn't work. 

    I don't see this updated post. Could you point us to the update? 

    In any case, I tried it and the dGPU is still stable for me. No crash even after hours of encoding in Adobe Premiere Pro. Also Lightroom and Illustrator are not crashing anymore, and there has not been any dGPU disconnect since then. 

    It is only a workaround though, as this means that the dGPU is running at full power, with fans spinning at max. speed all the time. A fixed official MS driver needs to be released and Microsoft needs to acknowledge the issue asap.

    did y try to do this?i'm in 1803 now ,i can't stand the gpu disconnecting again.
