Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

October 2019 updates

The following updates are available for all Surface Book 2 devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater:

    Mine might a bit different.

    After upgraded to 1903，while using Photoshop or lightroom，as what I concern，every time it awake dGPU，the software will crash，with the Photoshop closed，I will hear the voice of detach the keyboard，or the one while detaching the memory disk. After that I will find the dGPU disappeared.

    Detach the keyboard and reconnect can find the dGPU back（I guess through the hardware refresh after connected）

    Actually yesterday I saw another user reported the Autodesk CAD crash like this（totally same，heard the detach voice，software automatic exit，then dGPU lost） in 1903 too.

    Hi yanselherrera ,

    Thank you for reaching back to Surface Community. We appreciate your effort in doing those troubleshooting. If that doesn't resolve the issue, please try this steps below. 

    Let's try a force shutdown/restart of your Surface. Performing a Forced Shutdown is like removing the battery from a laptop or unplugging a desktop PC. It resets the hardware and clears all the cache and memory for your hardware. To do this, here's how:

        1. Press and hold the volume-up button and the power button at the same time for at least 15    seconds and then release both.

            *The Surface may boot to UEFI. This is normal. Exit the UEFI without any changes made.

        2. Press and release the power button to turn your Surface back on. You should see the Surface logo.

    Hi

    My Surface Book 2 has the same problem. After the update to 1903, the dGPU logs off after about 15 minutes. In the device manager you can dan again and after 15 minutes it is gone again.

    Already have the latest nVidia driver 430.86 installed. Without success. This problem I have only since the 1903. Photo editing in Lightroom is therefore impossible.
