Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.
October 2019 updates
The following updates are available for all Surface Book 2 devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater:

Are these updates for throttling and NVidia issues firmware or drivers?
Selecting Release Preview will keep you on the current released version of Windows but provide you the latest Surface updates before they are more broadly available. You can always go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program to opt-out of receiving preview updates.
And we have yet to see a single person report they have the beta driver and its working well.
I have a feeling the response I got about Spring 2020 may be correct because the next major release after Fall 2019 is Spring 2020 if MS follows their usual Fall / Spring release pattern. My understanding is that the fixes may have missed being able to be released with the Fall 2019 update therefore Spring 2020 is the next major update...

To join the Windows Insider Program go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program and click Get Started. You will need to provide a Microsoft Account and when prompted choose Release Preview. Selecting Release Preview will keep you on the current released version of Windows but provide you the latest Surface updates before they are more broadly available. You can always go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program to opt-out of receiving preview updates.
This fix will be generally available through Windows Update as soon as it completes our quality testing.

Hi Eddy,
When can we expect the fix to be available? Its been over 6 months since I first reported the issue. Are we going to be waiting until next Spring 2020 (Microsoft's usual release schedule of Fall / Spring) for all the GPU issues to be resolved as I have been informed?
