I'm having the same problem! HELP!
New Surface Pro 7 shutting down randomly
I'm tired of all these issues now. At first, a few days ago, I was working on this laptop and it shut down randomly. I switched it on, but again it shut down randomly. In 20 minutes, this happened thrice. I tried something, and then it worked fine for a day. Then today again, it is happening. The diagnostic kit says there's nothing wrong. Please help.

2021-03-03T03:10:06+00:00 Our SP7's - al 24 of them - all have a very slight flicker even with all the auto brightness settings turned off using the windows settings and the Intel Control Panel. These devices have hardware problems that cannot be fixed. We've moved on. People put up with these issues but we won't be buying any more, unless MS come to the party and admit there's problems.

2021-03-03T02:54:36+00:00 I have just tried the above fix (Device manager -> system device, etc) so we'll see how it goes.
Other posters here recommended downloading the Intel Graphics Command Center and using it to disable "Panel Self Refresh", but no such option was there when I downloaded the Command Center (and I tried both the regular and Beta versions from the Microsoft store).
This has been an ongoing problem for me - pretty much from the time I bought the thing in 2017 - and it seems to come and go at random. It's gone weeks without any problems, then it reverts to happening every day. Typically the crash comes at some point overnight. I usually leave the device in sleep mode, and if this happens, I wake up to see the Surface logo on the screen, and the device is hot as though it's been running the display for hours.
