My Microsoft ads account got suspended before I even created a campaign .

Making multiple new accounts because your account has been suspended is one of the most serious offences you can commit (apparently).

Google runs a racket where a couple of the most senior and trusted partners can get your account reinstated for $3500.

Maybe Bing has the same Scam (of course i meant scheme..) going on.

But be warned !!

They don't guarantee that the same thing won't happen again the next time you place an ad or google crawls your site putting you back to square one & a further $3500 out of pocket.

A couple of tips I have learnt, that may cast some light on some suspension cases:

1/ They don't like virtual payment cards and suspend for suspicious payment activities

2/ Using trade terms like "target, targetting, targets" confuses the algorithm into thinking there's a breach

  in Trademark and it can suspend the account.  It can take months to get an actual person to look into this.

3/ If your account gets suspended, the worst thing you can do is open another one..

4/ Discussing your account issues with you is interpreted as leaking company & trade secrets, which will get the

   support agent fired.  They also know even less than you do about your suspension..

5/ Dropshipping and Print on demand adverts can also get you suspended if you don't get the wording right.

   These ads can fall foul of the policy that you must hold enough stock to supply the demand for your products.

   (it appears that ads pointing to affiliate sites are also, now, starting to get caught up with this one).

Don't take these tips as the opinion of an expert, these are merely a few things I have stumbled across when dealing

some suspension issues of my own..

Google does the same thing with no answers there either. I thought Bing was different but apparently the little guys don't deserve answers and it seems to be industry wide.

I created two accounts today which both got banned in less than 5minutes after putting in my information. What the heck is going on? I guess I'll have to go to google ads.

I'm slowly but surely, getting some answers as to what may be happening.

If your ad links to a site with malicious code etc, the algorithm will automatically suspend the ad and your account.

This isn't as dreadful a scenario as it sounds, and it goes a little way to explain why everything is clouded in secrecy, with the persistent, vague and generic answers. The can't allow hackers, con artists, and such, to find out the methods used to thwart attacks on their systems.

Google works on the same security algorithm (or something uncannily similar) and some advertisers have the exact same issues. They released an update today which gives a little more information on the workings, and possibilities of getting innocently involved with these issues.

If you have changed your site since google search spiders last visited your site, the remaining metatags etc from removed pages can also act as a trap-door into this mess.

I hope this helps a bit. I'm still trying to get my own suspension lifted - but at least this gives me an avenue to explore and tidy up - an avenue I never knew even existed !
