My Microsoft ads account got suspended before I even created a campaign .

I got this message 30 mins after creating the account and loading 100$ into it,

"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked

We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.

You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address.

To resolve this issue, please contact Support."

I have never used microsoft ads before, this is insane. I feel like they robbed me of my money. I didn't even do anything.

When i contact support they say they cant even tell me what the issue is.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

    That was a spammer. AI-generated bla bla bla content plus spam link.

    This exact thing just happened to me and the responses from the rep dont make any sense. Are you able to provide some detail? Accoutn creation was fine, everything was roses, checked in an hour later and I received message that account was suspended for supsicious activity and ominous email was genrated upon login regarding banned account. nothing ever ran. My site is a about food. The rep told ne he couldnt tell me why the account just got banned, but that they keep advertisers privacy, what advertisers? Then he said he didnt know why its banned, but that there was a thourough investigation? Lol, when?

    Hey Keith,

    I don't think there is a review team as such. Reviews are also automated with some keywords that send an alert for a manual examination. This isn't a review either, this will not overturn any decision made by automation either. If the operator thinks it may have some credence, he/she then forwards to a line manager who will conduct the first official review and it's only then that any Appeal is taken seriously... It's all down to money.. A review team would cost more than the entire marketing budget, so it's a lot cheaper to keep allowing the automation.

    This issue regardless of being a potential fault of AI is actually affecting our businesses. If this is not resolved then I will have no choice but to begin legal proceedings. Having been banned from Google for the same reason actually being their fault for misleading me on the payment matter NOW this is actually affecting my business. I hope they resolve this matter.

    Hi Matt,

    I was with one of your reps creating a new account not even a campaign and as soon as I was placing the payment method which my debit card is related to the business I was kicked out and suspended!. I made sure every piece of information was correct and I don't understand why this happened. You guys had a great rep (John) helping me and he had to create an appeal since I was not able to on my end REF# 7024769173. My business is being damaged due to the overall situation and I appreciate if you guys can do something about this since these comments are now scaring me.

    Exactly the same issue here... Tried 2 separate accounts and assumed it was the Google Ads link that was triggering the ban so was going to try and manually build a campaign with a 3rd account, but assuming if it's the domain that's getting banned then I'll see the same issue?

    The first account was running for a couple of months before being suspended but the second was suspended as soon as I entered the client details.

    Surely there is some way around this?
