Windows 24H2 issues with Scanning

Dear Microsoft,

Please before you push out a cumulative update do your due diligence and make sure it will not ruin critical functions. Many scanner products will not scan anymore and pop up with a WIA no friendly name error. Currently my company is having problems with Fujitsu scanners. We need this resolved quickly to avoid service disruption; what is your eta on a permanent fix for this that ISN'T rolling back the OS to the previous version. Due to vulnerabilities our security (rightly so) will not allow us to revert.

We do have a company that seems to be working (Epson) this may be a good place to start your troubleshooting as to why this isn't working with other companies (brother, ricoh to name a few). I am under the gun here from my CIO and this needs to be resolved or at least a workaround found asap.

    That sounds all so nice and lovely, however, if the computer was imaged on 24H2 you can't roll back to something that was never there. We are getting new computers for our company that are already set up with 24H2. Now we can certainly reimage them, but how do you expect us to do this remotely as we are a national company with thousands of users with this problem.

    To Microsoft execs: Please swallow your pride for once and admit that you screwed things up and just fix it from your end. I have seen how you continue to blame the scanner companies, and it just simply isn't there fault.

    We are using Brother Printers ad Scanners and we have the scanner problem with Windows 11 24H2 version. Printer functions work fine. We would like to receive updates/progress as you find solutions or work around to this problem as it is critical to us.

    I bought a new Windows 11 computer from Best Buy and the 24H2 update was automatically installed. I have a Canon printer and the scanner does not work. Do you have any timeframe when this might be fixed?

    I just got a Brother MFC-L2900 and I am not able to get the scanner setup. After reading this thread, I suspect it might be related to this issue with 24H2.
