Ever since my microsoft account renewal my HP1020 printer shows it is offline. How can I fix this?
A Microsoft account renewal should not normally cause your HP LaserJet 1020 printer to go offline.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
Select HP LaserJet 1020 and click Remove.
Disconnect the printer's USB cable and restart your computer.
Reconnect the printer and turn it on.
Go back to Printers & scanners, click Add device, and follow the instructions to add the printer again.
It no longer says offline but when I try to print it now says error
Please provide the full error message that appears.
it says: "Error 1 document waiting". I have cleared the document then it appears every time I try to print.
Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
Find Print Spooler, right-click it and select Restart.
Try printing again.
If the same error appears, stop the Print Spooler, delete the files in C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS, then start the service again and test printing.
