If the same Gmail address now signs in to a Microsoft account that shows no purchases and Minecraft/Xbox shows no ownership, the purchase was likely made on a different Microsoft account than the one currently being opened, or the original account is no longer being reached with that email.

   • If it goes to a password prompt, that address is a Microsoft account.
   • If it says the account does not exist, that address is not currently a Microsoft account sign-in.
4. Check for a duplicate-account situation
   • If Microsoft shows “Which account do you want to use?”, that means there are two Microsoft accounts using the same email address: a Personal account and a Work or school account.
   • In that case, the Minecraft purchase could be under only one of them.
5. Try alternate sign-in aliases
   • If an alternate email address was ever added to the Microsoft account, try signing in with that alias instead.
   • Microsoft accounts can have aliases, and any alias can be used to sign in.
6. Do not expect the purchase to appear on a newly created account using the same Gmail address
