    Hi,

I will help you out with the issue.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but in your personal capacity, you can only gather the details when the laptop is configured with the Microsoft account.

A better idea is to contact the local police authorities, which can ask Microsoft for the more details which may help.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you good luck!

If the device was removed from the Microsoft account device list, the context does not provide a way to recover or view its last location afterward.

    Supported facts:

    1. Find my device only works if it was already enabled before the theft.
    2. It requires signing in to the device with a Microsoft personal account and that account must be an Administrator on the device.
    3. The device location can be found from https://account.microsoft.com/devices by selecting Find My Device and then Find.
    4. If the device comes online again, location updates depend on it being connected to the Internet.
    5. If the device is still available in the account, it can be remotely locked.
    6. For added security, change the Microsoft account password and review recent sign-in activity.

    Steps to take now:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and check whether the laptop still appears.
    2. If it appears, open Find My Device and select Find.
    3. If it appears on the map, select Lock to lock it remotely.
    4. Check recent sign-in activity at https://account.live.com/Activity.
    5. Change the Microsoft account password and update security settings.
    6. If sign-in is blocked, use the Sign-in helper.
    7. Report the theft to local law enforcement and the insurance company.
