i want to cancel my subscription immediately and i can’t figure out how to do it

To stop the monthly charge for a personal Microsoft subscription:

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the subscription.
2. Find the subscription and select Manage.
3. Select Cancel. It might appear as Upgrade or Cancel.
4. Follow the prompts to complete cancellation.

Important checks if Cancel is not available:

• If Turn on recurring billing is shown, recurring billing is already off. The subscription will expire on the date shown, and there should be no further automatic charges.
• If the subscription does not appear, sign in with a different Microsoft account. A charge that does not show under the current account is often tied to another Microsoft account.
• If the subscription was bought through a third party such as Amazon, Best Buy, Google Play, or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refunds must be handled through that seller.
• If there is an overdue balance or an expired payment card on the subscription, that must be resolved before cancellation can be completed.

If a charge happened after cancellation, common reasons are:

• The cancellation was made too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be more than 2 days before the billing date.
• The charge belongs to a different Microsoft account.

If the charge is unfamiliar, investigate it from the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard.

If cancellation still cannot be completed, use Microsoft support from Contact Microsoft Support.
