    1. Go to Services & subscriptions.
    2. Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the trial, find the Microsoft 365 subscription, and select Manage --› Cancel.

    Microsoft's official instructions are available here.

    Was the free trial started directly through Microsoft, or through Apple/Google?

    If it was started through Microsoft, sign in to your Microsoft account and go to Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services Find the Microsoft 365 trial, then select "Cancel" and follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.

    If you see "Turn on recurring billing" instead, recurring billing is already turned off and the trial will simply expire on the date shown, so you should not be charged.

    If the trial was started through Apple App Store or Google Play, it needs to be cancelled through that provider instead.
