Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
- Go to Services & subscriptions and sign in with the Microsoft account that may have been used for the charge.
- Look for a Microsoft 365 subscription.
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, the subscription is billed by Microsoft.
- Select Manage > Cancel subscription or Cancel, then follow the prompts.
- If Turn on recurring billing appears instead, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and no further cancellation is needed.
- If no subscription appears on that account, check whether the charge is on a different Microsoft account. If available, also review order history and payment details for any other Microsoft accounts tied to the payment method.
- If the subscription was bought through Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Best Buy, Harvey Norman, or another third-party retailer, cancellation and refunds must be handled with that provider directly.
- If a refund is needed, cancel first. Refund eligibility is checked after cancellation, and not all cancellations qualify for a refund.
- If the charge is unrecognized, use the Manage your payments page to investigate it.
If Microsoft 365 is canceled, storage drops to 5 GB of cloud storage and 15 GB of Outlook.com storage. For Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Premium, shared users also lose the higher storage allowance.
