As the message from Microsoft says, your account has been blocked because it was being used for activity contrary to Microsoft's rules.

You probably didn't use your account for activity contrary to Microsoft's rules, at least not intentionally. It's possible that someone successfully attacked your account and was using it for illegal activity in your name.

The solution is to create a new account.

For your privacy and security, I have covered the personal information included in your post. Please avoid sharing any personal or sensitive information publicly, such as serial numbers, order details, email addresses, phone numbers, or case-related information.

    Hi Sabouh Aralow,

I understand how concerning it can be to see your account recovery blocked, especially when you are trying to regain access.

The message in your screenshot indicates that Microsoft detected unusual activity and temporarily prevented the recovery process. Since the recovery form itself is being blocked, please start with the Microsoft Sign-in Helper. Enter the affected email address and follow the recovery option provided for that specific account.

Could you also let me know:

    • Did this message appear while using the Sign-in Helper, the account recovery form, or while signing in directly to Outlook.com?
    • Do you still have access to any phone number, alternate email address, or Microsoft Authenticator method connected to the account?

If a verification option appears during sign-in, complete it using a security method you still recognize. If the Sign-in Helper cannot provide a usable recovery option, you can contact Microsoft Support using another accessible Microsoft account and explain that the recovery process is being blocked due to unusual activity. If the automated Support Assistant appears, type: I need to speak with a live support agent about the available recovery options. Then select Contact Support or Chat with a support agent if that option is offered.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum, so community members cannot unlock the account or change its security information. Thank you so much for your understanding.

If account recovery is blocked because unusual activity was detected, use the Microsoft Sign-in Helper first to identify the correct recovery path.

If the account is locked, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com to request a security code. Any phone number that can receive text messages can be used; it does not need to be linked to the account.

    If that does not work:

    1. Use the Account recovery form.
    2. Complete it on a device previously used to sign in to the account.
    3. Submit it from a familiar location, such as home or office.
    4. Provide as much accurate account information as possible.
    5. If the request is denied, try again. Recovery attempts can be made up to two times per day.

    Important limits:

    • If two-step verification is turned on and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, support cannot reset the account or change account details.
    • Microsoft support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or access and change account details.
    • If the account has been inactive for more than two years, it may have been deleted and cannot be reopened.

If the username is reported as not existing, use the Sign-in Helper.
