Unnecessary pay messages

My monthly payment falls on the 15th of each month due to a suspicious payment reported by my bank, I cancelled my card on the 15th of September. Unfortunately, this was before my payment to MS had gone off. i thus received the non-payment warning. After falling around a bit as the replacement card had not arrived yet. After confirming that I could use my Virtual card, I set it up for payment and paid successfully on 16 September. But now I keep getting messages stating that my prescription has lapsed, while I have full access to my apps. Also messages to update my payment method, which was already done. It is a quite irritating situation. Please fix it.

This usually happens when the subscription payment problem was fixed, but Office is still showing a stale payment warning.

    1. Close all Office apps.
    2. Go to the Services & subscriptions page and confirm the Microsoft 365 subscription shows as active.
    3. Go to the Payment options page and confirm the updated payment method does not show an error.
    4. If both look correct, sign out of Office from an app such as Word.
    5. Restart the device.
    6. Sign back in to Office.

If the subscription is active and the payment method is already updated, but the warning continues, this can be caused by an Office update or a server-side issue.

Also verify that the warning is coming from the Office app itself and not from email. If it is an email notice, review it carefully because payment-related emails can also be phishing.

    1

    Open Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, is your subscription then correctly recognized correctly.

    2

If not, log into your Microsoft account on this link, check the expiry date listed on your subscription, is that listed correctly.

If not, go to the Billing section, is it indicated your payment has been processed correctly.
