Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
The screenshots show the subscription is already set to expire on 28 Oct 2025. When a subscription shows as expired or set to expire, it means it is not set to renew again.
A charge can still happen after cancellation for these supported reasons:
- Cancellation was too close to the billing date. Microsoft states cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date.
- A previously declined charge was charged again.
- The charge needs to be investigated from the payment history even if there is only one account.
What to do next:
- Go to Manage your payments in the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate for the charge.
- Check Services & subscriptions and confirm the subscription end date matches 28 Oct 2025.
- If the charge was taken after cancellation and needs review, use the refund path by cancelling first and checking whether refund eligibility is shown during cancellation.
- If the charge is still unresolved after using Investigate, contact Microsoft Support through the support flow.
If the subscription page shows it is expired and only offers Renew/Resubscribe, there should be no further automatic renewal from that subscription state.
