My current subscription ends on 24 December 2026 but I am repeatedly being asked to "Upgrade" and I can't access the benefits of my current subscription.

    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

Which Microsoft subscription are you using, and which benefits cannot be accessed? Where does it ask you to upgrade?

Please also sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services and confirm whether the subscription shows as active until 24 December 2026. You may share a screenshot, but hide your email address and payment details.

Please do not purchase another subscription yet.

If the subscription really expires on 24 December 2026, an Upgrade prompt should not remove access to current benefits.

    Check these items first:

    1. Verify the subscription status online at https://account.microsoft.com/services.
      • Confirm the subscription is shown as active.
      • Confirm the expiration date is still 24 December 2026.
    2. If Microsoft 365 apps are showing reduced access, open an Office app such as Word and check that the app is signed in with the same Microsoft account that owns the subscription.
    3. If the expiration date looks wrong, or the subscription is active but benefits are still blocked, contact Microsoft Support for account and billing review.
      • Microsoft’s guidance is to check renewal status online before contacting support.
      • If the status does not look right, support needs to review it.
    4. If access is needed immediately while the issue is being resolved, use the web apps at microsoft365.com or Office.com.
    5. If the issue is actually with a Visual Studio subscription benefit showing unavailable, the benefit tile can display “Temporarily Unavailable” during technical issues and is restored after the issue is resolved.
