Cannot log into outlook account

I moved countries and cannot access an outlook account.

I don't have the mobile number associated with it, and even with the correct password it insists on sending a code.

I tried the 'don't have access to the above' but it asks questions and rejects my answers.

This account is linked to my youtube account with 15k subscribers - it's very annoying.

Can I verify my identity in any other ways? I can send pics of my ID and I also know the password - since when was a password not good enough to get into an account for crying out loud!

    Hi @Christian Dutton

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, especially since the account is connected to a YouTube channel with 15,000 subscribers.

For a personal Microsoft account, Microsoft Support cannot manually verify ownership using a photo ID, send a verification code, or bypass the account’s security checks. A correct password may not be enough when a sign-in comes from a new country or device, as Microsoft may require an additional verification method.

Please try the Microsoft Sign-in Helper first: https://aka.ms/sign-in-helper

If you are directed to the account recovery form again, complete it from a device, browser, and network previously used with the account, if possible. Include as much accurate information as you can, such as previous passwords, recent email subject lines, contacts, folder names, and Microsoft purchase or subscription details.

If two-step verification was enabled and you no longer have access to any registered verification method, the recovery form and Microsoft Support cannot override it.

Since the Outlook address is linked to your YouTube channel, if you are still signed in to the associated Google account on another device, I also recommend updating its recovery phone number and recovery email as soon as possible.
