How to get a hacker out of my account

My Outlook.com account was compromised. I have changed the password, enabled MFA, signed out everywhere, checked forwarding, rules, aliases, security information and app permissions. However, three blocked sender/domain entries are being automatically recreated approximately every 5 minutes after I delete them: email.claude.com, mail.anthropic.com and support.anthropic.com. I believe there is still an unauthorised application/session/API access modifying my mailbox settings. I need Microsoft to investigate the persistent access and identify what is recreating these blocked-sender entries.

    Hi @NH

I’m sorry to hear that your Outlook.com account was compromised. You have already taken the appropriate security steps by changing your password, enabling MFA, signing out everywhere, and reviewing your forwarding settings, rules, aliases, security information, and app permissions.

Since email.claude.com, mail.anthropic.com, and support.anthropic.com are automatically reappearing in the blocked senders and domains list approximately every five minutes, this requires further investigation by Microsoft Support. Before contacting them, please run a full malware scan on every device used to access the account and temporarily remove the account from any desktop or mobile mail apps.

    Then, please contact Microsoft Support:

    • Select Show expanded list of products.
    • Select Outlook > Get Home support.
    • Enter Outlook live chat, then select Get Help > Contact Support.
    • Sign in with the affected account. If that is not possible, use another Microsoft account to view the available support options.
    • Ask our Support Assistant > Type "Talk to live chat agent" > Contact Support
    • Under Products & Services, select Other Products > Outlook, then choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

    Thank you for your understanding.
