Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
To add one more user, first buy an additional Microsoft 365 business license, then assign it to the new user in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Go to the admin center.
- If using Simplified view, select Billing > Add more products. If using Dashboard view, go to the Marketplace page.
- Select the plan to buy, then select Details.
- In Select a plan, choose the plan and enter the number of licenses to buy.
- Select the subscription length and billing frequency, then select Buy.
- In the Checkout pane, choose the billing profile or add a new one.
After the license is purchased:
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Users > Active users.
- Select Add a user.
- Enter the new user’s details.
- Assign the newly purchased license.
- Finish adding the user.
Important:
- Each person needs their own user account before they can sign in and use Microsoft 365 for business.
- Licenses must be purchased before assigning them to users.
- A license or user administrator role is required to add users and assign licenses.
