Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Outlook for Windows does not provide a Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit option for email content in this scenario. For wide content such as a table that is cut off in print preview, the remaining supported workarounds are:
- Open the email and select Actions > Edit Message.
- Reduce the table width or adjust the content before printing.
- Copy the email content into a new Microsoft Word document.
- Resize or reformat the table in Word, then print from Word.
- If only part of the message must be printed, use File > Print > Print Options and set the Page Range needed.
- If the table is effectively an image or contains embedded pictures, save or copy that content out of the message and print it from another app:
- Right-click and Save image as, then print the saved file.
- Or Copy image, paste into Paint or another image editor, and print from there.
- In File > Print > Print Options, review these print settings:
- Confirm the correct printer is selected.
- Open Properties to check paper/output settings.
- Use Page Setup to review paper and format settings.
- If available, test a different print style such as Memo Style.
Since View in Browser is blocked in the environment, the practical options left are editing the message, moving the content to Word, or extracting image-based content and printing it from another program.
