my new computer doesn't recognize my 365 license cannot access any microsft apps #365

If you have a Microsoft 365 Personal, Family or Premium subscription, verify that it is active in your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services .

On your new PC, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and click the Install button. When installation is completed, activate by signing in to your apps.

Hello

Does it give any specific error message? If so, what does it say?

Can you go to your account https://account.live.com, then go to Subscriptions, do you see your Microsoft 365 listed there? If so, what's the full name of it, for example, is it Microsoft 365 Basic, or Personal, or Family?

Is the status showing as "active"?

Yes, it is active. I have Microsoft 365 family doesn’t renew until next year.

That's great. Do you see an "Install" option while you are in your account? If so, that's where you can click and it will downoad the installer file. Once downloaded, you just need to open the file to install it.

After it is installed, simply sign into the same Microsoft account in the apps.

If you still run into any difficulty, it would be very helpful if you can share what it says, or any screenshot can help too.

I do see the install. I am now downloading. Has not been completed yet. If I sign out of an old computer, am I able to sign back on the old device?

Oh good. Once downloaded, make sure you open that installer file to install.

Yes, you should be able to sign back into it on the old device.

With the subscription, you can sign into these apps at up to 5 devices at the same time.

I don’t see that plus I’m still waiting the 365 and office downloads happen. Seems like it’s taking a long time.
