I have 2 Microsoft accounts.1 was created to link a child's account for school. Second account was created after not being able to "find" the details of the first one, of which the child account is linked to. I cannot unlink the child's account from the family group and lift restrictions from the first account as it says she is in another family group. Recovery of the first account isn't happening, the account was not used to send any mails and security questions ask what mails did I last send. I cant even verify if that account is still active. The child's account can't exit group as that function is only allowed by the parent.

    Hi Ntombenhle Mthembu

Based on your description, the child account is still linked to the original Microsoft Family group that is managed by your first Microsoft account. Since only the family organizer can remove a child account from a family group, access to that organizer account is typically required before changes can be made. Unfortunately, as community moderators, we do not have access to Microsoft accounts and cannot view account details, verify ownership, reset passwords, recover accounts, or make any changes on a user's behalf. For privacy and security reasons, we also do not have any tools that would allow us to intervene in the account recovery process. If you no longer have access to the original account, I recommend filling the Microsoft Account Recovery form since it is the only way to activate the process:

My sincerely apologize that we cannot provide more direct assistance in this situation. I know how concerning account security issues can be, and I hope the guidance in the article helps you regain access to your account as quickly as possible. Wishing you the very best with the recovery process.
