MICROSOFT OFFICE IS NOT OPENING

Note: “Office 265” should be “Office 365.”

1. Restart the computer and try opening any Office application again.
2. Press Windows + R, type winword.exe /safe, and press Enter to open Word in Safe Mode.
3. If Word opens in Safe Mode, disable the installed Office add-ins and try again.
4. Go to Settings → Apps → Installed Apps → Microsoft 365 → Modify.
5. Select Quick Repair and wait for the repair to complete.
6. Restart the computer and check whether Office applications are opening normally.

What exactly happens when you open an Office app? Does it just keep loading, or are you seeing any error messages or codes? Please share any error messages if you receive any.

Are you using Windows or Mac? If you are using a Mac, what exact version of macOS are you using?

When you log in to your account, do you see the Office license or subscription there, and is it listed as active?
