Outlook has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Outlook will need to be closed as a result. By clicking repair now, it shows the same issue.

Hello,

To help narrow this down, could you clarify a few details?

Does the error appear immediately when you open Outlook, or when you perform a specific action?
After you click Repair Now, does a repair process run and finish, or does the same error return without a repair starting?
Can you open Word and Excel normally?

Please also try opening Outlook in Safe Mode: close Outlook, press Windows + R, type outlook.exe /safe, and press Enter. Let me know whether it opens or shows the same error.

If Word opens, please share your Office version and build from File > Account > About Word. You can also attach a screenshot of the error, with any personal information hidden.

When opening the outlook classic version app, a message icon pop out that Outlook is having error. When you click the Repair now, it just closed the message and nothing is being fixed.

word and excel is having same issue as well :(

opening it in safe mode is showing the same error.

Thanks for checking. Since Word and Excel are also affected, and trying Safe Mode did not help, please try repairing Office directly through Windows.

From your description, we cannot know if clicking Repair Now actually started a repair.

Close all Office apps.

Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.

Select your Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office installation, then click Change.

Choose Online Repair > Repair and follow the prompts. Keep your computer connected to the internet until it finishes. If you see a Change your installation window instead, choose Repair > Continue.

Restart your computer, then try opening Outlook, Word, and Excel again.

This repairs the entire Office suite. If Windows requests administrator credentials you do not have, please ask your IT team to help.
