Thank you Jack. I am afraid the subscription owner cannot be changed directly. There are two options:

1. Make the other account a family organizer at https://family.microsoft.com but it will not serve much of a purpose.
2. Contact Microsoft support who may be able to transfer the subscription owner.

Exact steps to reach support:

• Please go to the https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact page.
• Click Microsoft Office / Windows depending on the issue.
• Click Get Home Support.
• Type "Billing" and press Enter.
• Please click on the "Contact support" button at the bottom.
• Select the Category for support based on your requirements.
