Why is there no visible "Connected apps" page in the Microsoft Account portal?

I noticed that third-party applications connected to a personal Microsoft account can be managed at:

https://account.live.com/consent/Manage

However, I cannot find any obvious link to this page from the main Microsoft Account portal at:

https://account.microsoft.com/

The main account portal provides sections such as Security, Privacy, Devices, Subscriptions, and Your info, but there does not appear to be a visible "Connected apps", "Apps and services", or "App permissions" entry.

I only discovered the consent management page after receiving a Microsoft security email about a newly connected application. The "Manage your apps" button in that email links to the older account.live.com consent page.

This creates two usability issues:

  1. Users may not know where to review or revoke third-party OAuth permissions unless they still have the security notification email.
  2. The use of both microsoft.com and live.com for the same Microsoft Account management experience can be confusing, especially for users trying to verify whether a page is an official Microsoft page.

Would it be possible to add a visible "Connected apps" or "App permissions" entry under Security or Privacy in account.microsoft.com?

It would not necessarily require redesigning the existing consent system. Even a simple link from account.microsoft.com to the existing account.live.com/consent/Manage page would make the feature much easier to discover.

Is there currently an official navigation path to this page that I may have missed? [moved from: Microsoft 365 and Office | Subscription, account, billing | For business | Other]

    For a personal Microsoft account, the page you found is the appropriate place to review connected applications and remove access: Review apps and services that can access your Microsoft account

    Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Community contributors and moderators do not have access to the account portal’s backend and cannot add or change its navigation. Your suggestion to place a visible Connected apps or App permissions link under Security or Privacy is valid product feedback. You can submit it through the Microsoft Feedback Portal and upvote a similar suggestion if one is already available.

    For now, I recommend bookmarking the consent-management page so you can periodically review unfamiliar apps and remove any access you no longer recognize or need. Thank you so much for your understanding.
