I was charged $159 on 13 September for Microsoft 365 Personal. I am now included under my husband’s Microsoft 365 Family plan (Tom Burns – .........@humanconcepts.com.au), which was purchased on 9 September. Since I wasn’t added until several days later, this resulted in an overpayment. Please cancel the Personal subscription and refund the $159.

Further information is that when I was charged the $159 Personal, it was under a different email address (******@gmail.com).

Please note that Microsoft Q&A is a user-to-user forum. We do not have access to accounts or billing systems.

To request a refund, you will need to cancel the subscription first. Log in to your Microsoft account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Look for the subscription, then click Manage > Cancel and follow the prompts to cancel it.

After cancellation, the refund information will be shown to you. Please note that it may take 3 to 5 business days for the refund amount to be reflected in your bank account.

If it doesn’t work or you need further assistance, for your security and privacy, I recommend contacting Microsoft Billing Support directly, as this request involves personal or sensitive information that should not be shared in a public forum.

    Click this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Select Microsoft 365 > Click 'Get home support'.

Type "Chat with an agent" from the text field and press Enter.

Click "Contact support" at the bottom.

Select the product you need help with.

Follow the prompts to connect with a live agent or request a call back.
