Instead of Subscription, I purchased and it does not show up

This usually means the Office apps are still signed in with the account or license from the older subscription or older Office purchase, so the new Office Home 2024 license is not being picked up yet.

Try this in order:

1. Confirm the new license is on the correct Microsoft account
   Go to the Microsoft account dashboard and open the Subscription page.
   Check that Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024 or Office Home 2024 appears under Products you've purchased or in Services & subscriptions.
2. Make sure the product key was redeemed with that same account
   For Office for home products, the product key must be redeemed and associated with a Microsoft account. After that, installation and activation must use that same account.
3. Close and reopen the Office app
   In the Office Home and Business 2024 activation flow, after the license is added to the Microsoft account, returning to the app, closing the dialog, closing the document window, and starting the app again can trigger the message that the account has Office Home and Business 2024.
4. Check the license inside Word
   In Word, go to File > Account and look at Product Information.
   The expected result is that it shows the app is licensed with Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024.
5. If Word still shows the old subscription or 2018 purchase, reinstall from the Microsoft account page
   Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services, sign in with the same Microsoft account used to redeem the new product, locate the Office 2024 purchase, and select Install. This installs the one-time purchase version tied to that license.
6. If an older Office version is still installed, remove it first
   Older Office installations can cause the apps to keep showing the old license. Uninstall existing Office versions shown on the PC, restart, then reinstall Office 2024 from the Services & subscriptions page.
7. If the new purchase does not appear on the account at all
   The product may have been redeemed with a different Microsoft account. Check any other Microsoft accounts that may have been used during redemption.
8. If the issue continues after reinstalling
   Contact Microsoft support.
