Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Three charges in July after an annual charge in March usually means one of these situations:
- A previously declined payment was charged again.
- Multiple purchases or subscription periods were bought.
- Another Microsoft account, such as a family member’s account, is using the same card.
- Recurring billing or another subscription is generating additional charges.
To verify what happened:
- Sign in and review order history for July 2025.
- Look for multiple purchases for 129.99 that appear close together.
- Use: Review your order history
- Check payment options and investigate the card.
- If only one charge appears in order history, go to Payment options and select Investigate to search for other accounts using the same card.
- Use: Go to payment options
- Check whether the March annual payment and the July charges are for the same product.
- Microsoft states that if a payment was previously unsuccessful, a later successful retry can appear close to another payment.
- Also check whether any additional subscription purchase was made intentionally or by another household member.
- If the charges are still unexplained, contact support.
- Go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter the billing problem, select Get Help, and then Contact Support.
