Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Account updates cannot be performed here.
To stop the payment warning after a renewal:
- Close all Microsoft 365 apps.
- Go to your Services & subscriptions page: Sign in
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy Microsoft 365.
- Under Microsoft 365, confirm the subscription is active and check whether it shows a new renewal or expiry date.
- If there is a payment error, go to your Payment options page: Payment options and update the payment method if it shows an error.
- After confirming the subscription is active or updating payment info, reopen Word or Excel. If the warning still appears, close all Office apps and open them again. Signing out of Office and then signing back in can also refresh the license status.
If the subscription was purchased through Apple, Google, Amazon, or another retailer, billing changes must be managed with that provider directly. Microsoft cannot cancel, refund, or modify billing for those subscriptions.
If the account still shows paid and active but the warning continues, use Contact Support: Contact Microsoft Support.
