    Hello @Билгүүн Цагаанбилэг,

If Microsoft Authenticator is configured for your account, please first check the Authenticator app on the mobile device that was previously registered:

    • Open Microsoft Authenticator and verify that your account is still listed.
    • Check whether the app is showing a 6-digit code or a number matching prompt.
    • Make sure notifications are enabled and the phone has an internet connection.
    • If you recently changed phones or reinstalled the app, the Authenticator registration may no longer be valid.

If you cannot access the Authenticator app or no code is being generated, try selecting "Use a different way to sign in" or "Sign in another way" on the sign-in page and use another available verification method, such as email or phone verification.

If none of the registered authentication methods are accessible, you may need your Microsoft 365 administrator to reset your MFA registration so that you can set up Microsoft Authenticator again.

If you're an end-user, please reach out to your IT administrator/Microsoft 365 administrator and ask them to reset your MFA settings using the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.

If you haven’t yet reached out, here’s a helpful guide to locate your Microsoft 365 administrator: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Ask your administrator to follow these steps:

    • Go to Microsoft Entra Admin Center: https://entra.microsoft.com
    • Navigate to Entra ID > Users > All Users.
    • Select your user account.
    • Go to Authentication Methods.
    • Click "Require re-register multifactor authentication".

This will reset your MFA settings. The next time you sign in, you’ll be prompted to set up the Authenticator app again using a QR code.

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to let me know.

If the authenticator code is not appearing, use another sign-in method or recover the account from the sign-in flow.

    1. Start signing in to the Microsoft account.
    2. On the verification screen, look for Use a different way to sign in, Other ways to sign in, or I don't have any of these.
    3. If another method is available, choose email, phone, or a recovery code.
    4. If a recovery code was created earlier, select Use my password > Forgot password? > Use a different verification option > I don't have any of these > enter the recovery code.
    5. If the password is known but access to all security methods is lost, at Verify your identity select I don't have any of these and follow the steps to replace security info. After replacement, sign-in is blocked for 30 days before access is restored.
    6. If the password is not known and no security methods are accessible, submit the account recovery form.

If access is available to the account security page from another signed-in device:

    1. Open the Microsoft account Security tab at https://account.microsoft.com/security
    2. Select Manage how I sign in.
    3. Select Add a new way to sign in or verify.
    4. Add another method such as a recovery email, Microsoft Authenticator, or passkey.

    Important:

    • Existing recovery codes cannot be retrieved or downloaded. Only a new one can be generated after signing in.
    • Do not remove or change all security info at the same time, or the account may be restricted for 30 days.
    • Support agents cannot send verification codes, reset passwords directly, or change account details.

If sign-in still fails, use the Microsoft sign-in helper or Contact Support from the support page.
