Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello @Билгүүн Цагаанбилэг,
If Microsoft Authenticator is configured for your account, please first check the Authenticator app on the mobile device that was previously registered:
- Open Microsoft Authenticator and verify that your account is still listed.
- Check whether the app is showing a 6-digit code or a number matching prompt.
- Make sure notifications are enabled and the phone has an internet connection.
- If you recently changed phones or reinstalled the app, the Authenticator registration may no longer be valid.
If you cannot access the Authenticator app or no code is being generated, try selecting "Use a different way to sign in" or "Sign in another way" on the sign-in page and use another available verification method, such as email or phone verification.
If none of the registered authentication methods are accessible, you may need your Microsoft 365 administrator to reset your MFA registration so that you can set up Microsoft Authenticator again.
If you're an end-user, please reach out to your IT administrator/Microsoft 365 administrator and ask them to reset your MFA settings using the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.
If you haven’t yet reached out, here’s a helpful guide to locate your Microsoft 365 administrator: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
Ask your administrator to follow these steps:
- Go to Microsoft Entra Admin Center: https://entra.microsoft.com
- Navigate to Entra ID > Users > All Users.
- Select your user account.
- Go to Authentication Methods.
- Click "Require re-register multifactor authentication".
This will reset your MFA settings. The next time you sign in, you’ll be prompted to set up the Authenticator app again using a QR code.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to let me know.
