How do you recall a message sent via a calendar invite.

Hi Benka Kolceg (DTP),

Unfortunately, calendar responses (meeting invitations, accept/decline responses, or updates) cannot be recalled in the same way as an email message.

If the calendar invite or response has already been delivered to the recipients' mailbox, Outlook does not provide a feature to retract or recall it. The recommended approach is to send an updated meeting invite, cancel the meeting, or contact the recipients to explain the mistake, depending on what needs to be corrected.

A calendar reply message cannot be recalled the same way as an email message.

For meeting responses in Outlook, the supported actions are to open the meeting request and respond with Accept, Tentative, or Decline, or change the response later if the client supports editing the RSVP.

For sent email recall in classic Outlook, recall applies to email messages in Sent Items, not calendar reply messages. In classic Outlook, the Recall This Message command is available only for supported email scenarios, and it is not available in Outlook on the web. Message recall also requires that both sender and recipient use Microsoft 365 work or school accounts in the same organization for supported recall scenarios.
