Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Use this path to identify where the charge is managed and stop it:
- Go to the Microsoft Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Sign in with the Microsoft personal account that may have purchased Microsoft 365 Personal.
- Look for the subscription:
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, the subscription is billed by Microsoft.
- If management options are missing or limited, it may be managed by a third party.
- If the subscription is billed by Microsoft, select Cancel subscription. It may also appear as Upgrade or Cancel.
- If the page shows Turn on recurring billing instead, recurring billing is already off and the subscription will expire on the date shown. No further action is required.
If the subscription still cannot be found:
- Check whether it was purchased through a third party such as Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Best Buy, or Harvey Norman. Those subscriptions must be cancelled with that provider directly.
- Make sure the sign-in is using the same Microsoft personal account that originally purchased the subscription.
- Check the payment card used for the charge. If there is an overdue balance, cancellation is blocked until the amount owed is paid.
- If the charge does not appear under the current Microsoft account, review any other Microsoft accounts that may have been used.
If the charge is tied to a different account and cannot be located, removing the card from the current Microsoft account will not stop charges on another account.
