Then you can download Microsoft Store apps such as this: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nwdqd83tj6k to check. Moreover, the best option is still to manually check it.

I'm still hesitant to do anything on my own. I want to talk to someone at MSN tech support, but it is impossible to do so. Today, MSN confirmed that it scheduled 3 call backs, but I never got a call. Something is wrong with MSN support. I have spent 4 days now trying to get their help to no avail.

2026-09-15T01:18:45.53+00:00 Yes, it used to. But that stopped years ago. There are more than a billion users of Microsoft software and services (and its Surface laptops) all over the world. There's no chance that Microsoft could handle even a tiny fraction of that many calls.
Microsoft does hire a limited number of outside contractors to speak with customers, but their number is limited so it's not easy to reach them. And since they're not Microsoft employees, Microsoft isn't responsible for what they tell you or what they do to your computer.
On the other hand, there are who knows how many thousands of community forums - like Microsoft Q&A - plus websites, blogs, the internet, artificial intelligence (my personal favorite is ChatGPT, until it destroys the world), courses, teachers and knowledgeable family and friends. For those of us who need more help, there are professional technicians for hire.

Do you mean personal files that appear to be both on your computer and in your OneDrive? If so, please start a new question and ask about that specifically. That's a separate topic which deserves its own discussion.
