Can not open daily photos that come in daily to my email from One Drive

    I understand that you cannot open the daily photo or “On This Day” link sent by OneDrive.

    Could you please clarify the following?

    1. What exactly happens when you select the photo link? Please include the complete error message, if one appears.
    2. Which email app and browser are you using?
    3. Does the same link open in a private or InPrivate browser window?
    4. Are you signed in to the browser with the same personal Microsoft account that received the email?
    5. Can you view the photos directly in OneDrive without using the email link?

    As a workaround on Windows 10 or Windows 11, select the OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, then select View photos. You can also sign in to OneDrive on the web and check the Photos or Moments section.

    If the photos open directly in OneDrive but not from the email, the issue is more likely related to the email link, browser session, or signed-in account. In that case, try copying the link from the email and opening it in an InPrivate window, then sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the OneDrive photos.

    Let me know the results and the exact error message so I can narrow this down further.
