How do I pin Outlook to my taskbar? I've tried logging onto the Outlook site and right clicking, but that doesn't work.

If Outlook on the web is open in a browser, right-clicking the page itself will not pin it to the Windows taskbar. Install it as an app first, then pin or launch it from the taskbar.

    In Microsoft Edge:

    1. Sign in to Outlook on the web or Outlook.com.
    2. Select Settings and more.
    3. Select Apps > Install this site as an app.

    In Google Chrome:

    1. Sign in to Outlook on the web or Outlook.com.
    2. Select Customize and control Google Chrome.
    3. Select Install Outlook.

After installation, Outlook can be pinned and launched from the taskbar like a desktop app.

If the goal is to pin the Windows Outlook app instead, open Start, type Outlook, right-click it, and select Pin to taskbar. If both new Outlook and classic Outlook are installed, pin the specific one needed, such as Outlook or Outlook (classic).

    Hi, @Charles Bright

Since you’re using Outlook.com in a browser, right-clicking the webpage itself will not pin it to the Windows taskbar.

If you’re using Microsoft Edge, open Outlook.com, then click the three dots (...) > "More tools" > "Apps" > "Install this site as an app." After it installs, you can pin Outlook to the taskbar.

If the issue still persists, to help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you using Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or another browser?
    2. Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?

    Thanks!
