I purchased an upgraded Microsoft Family plan, however it was under a different email address. I need to merge the accounts so that I can begin using the upgrade

    Hi, @Perdita Johnson-Abercrombie

    Microsoft accounts cannot be merged, and a Microsoft 365 subscription cannot normally be transferred from one Microsoft account to another.

    However, if the upgraded subscription is Microsoft 365 Family, you can share it with the other Microsoft account instead.

    First, sign in with the email address used to purchase the Family plan here: https://account.microsoft.com/services Check that Microsoft 365 Family shows as active.

    To help narrow this down:

    1. Can you still sign in to both Microsoft accounts?
    2. Does the upgraded Microsoft 365 Family subscription appear as active under the email address that purchased it?
