    May I please know the make and model of your computer? 

    • Open Device Manager. (Click Windows + X, then select Device Manager.)
    • Expand the arrow next to Batteries. 
    • Right-click the Microsoft AC adapter driver, and select Disable device.
    • Wait a few minutes, then enable the driver again.
    • Next, disable the 'Microsoft ACPI-Complaint Control Method Battery' driver. 
    • Wait a few minutes, then enable the driver again.

    See if the battery charges. 

    If it doesn't, try plugging the AC adapter into a good, known wall outlet and see if it works.

    I don’t think this is related to a battery driver issue. It looks more like a hardware fault. I suggest you visit the nearest authorized manufacturer service center for diagnosis and repair. If it’s out of warranty, choose to repair only if the price is reasonable.

    For most GPU or motherboard issues, repair costs are not worth it.
