Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
If the subscription cannot be found, use this process immediately:
- Check all possible Microsoft accounts at the Microsoft account subscriptions page.
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, the subscription is billed by Microsoft.
- If management options are missing, it may be managed by a third party.
- If the subscription was bought through a third party, manage it with that provider directly.
- iPhone/iPad purchases: manage in Apple ID settings.
- Android purchases: manage in Google Play.
- Retailer purchases such as Amazon or Best Buy: contact that retailer.
- Microsoft cannot cancel, refund, or modify billing for third-party subscriptions.
- If the charge is unknown, investigate it from the Microsoft account dashboard on the Manage your payments page.
- If the payment method may have been used without authorization, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent more charges. Tell them the card has been stolen or compromised. Simply disputing charges does not prevent future fraudulent charges.
- Contact Microsoft Support:
- Technical support: Contact Microsoft Support
- Enter the problem and select Get Help.
- If more help is needed, select Contact Support to be routed to the best support option.
If the subscription still cannot be located, support needs the payment details to trace the charge rather than relying only on the account identity.
