A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
This usually happens when OneDrive has expired or stale cached sign-in data on the PC. On Windows, refresh the cached OneDrive credentials first:
- Press Windows key + R.
- Enter %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings and select OK.
- Delete PreSignInSettingsConfig.json.
- Start OneDrive again and sign in.
If OneDrive still will not sign in:
- Sign out of OneDrive.
- Remove all folders in:
- %localappdata%/Microsoft/OneAuth
- %localappdata%/Microsoft/IdentityCache
- Start OneDrive and try signing in again.
If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall OneDrive. Microsoft states that uninstalling OneDrive does not delete files or data, and files remain available by signing in to OneDrive on the web.
If this is a Microsoft personal account and the password may be the issue, use the Microsoft account sign-in helper. If it is a work or school account, reset the password or contact the organization IT admin.
